Në kuadër të Konferencës Ndërkombëtare Shkencore të UBT-së, u zhvillua edicioni i dedikuar Agrikulturës, Shkencave të Ushqimit dhe Teknologjisë, i cili mblodhi studiues, profesorë dhe profesionistë të fushës nga Kosova dhe vende të tjera për të diskutuar zhvillimet më të fundit në shkencën e ushqimit, bujqësinë e qëndrueshme dhe ndikimin e ushqyerjes në shëndetin e njeriut.

Prezantimet theksuan rëndësinë e inovacionit në përpunimin e ushqimeve, përdorimin e teknologjive të avancuara për analiza kimike, si dhe rolin e politikave mjedisore në mbrojtjen e ekosistemit bujqësor.
Në këtë konferencë u prezantuan studime që trajtojnë temat nga cilësia e ujit dhe produktet ushqimore tradicionale, deri te përdorimi i inteligjencës artificiale në bujqësi dhe ndikimi i përbërjeve bimore në shëndetin njerëzor. Kjo ngjarje shkencore dëshmoi angazhimin e komunitetit akademik për një qasje më të qëndrueshme ndaj ushqimit dhe mjedisit, duke kontribuar në përmbushjen e objektivave globale për zhvillim të qëndrueshëm (SDG).
